Astra Content is seeking an outstanding UK-based engagement editor to work with a major client’s outstanding digital publication focused on marketing and technology.

A key member of the Nordics and Benelux team, the engagement editor will be a switched-on, proactive problem-solver with unbeatable project management and administrative skills.

This role straddles content and organisation: as well as proven experience in scheduling complex projects across a number of teams, the successful candidate will have the writing and editing skills necessary to manage external agencies to ensure they create impactful content, imagery and CMS updates aimed at the marketing industry.

Liaising with a number of cross-functional stakeholders to achieve content sign-off is a major part of this role.

• Ability to schedule projects, retain project oversight at all stages, and ensure uninterrupted workflow
• Knowledge of and proven experience in using project tools and managing content using a CMS, including posting material as required
• A willingness to step in to help colleagues throughout the organisation and solve problems sensitively and effectively
• Excellent co-ordination skills – which will be needed to liaise daily with various cross-functional stakeholders and departments, including legal, sales, PR and many global teams
• Experience in scheduling interviews with external stakeholders.
• Strong editorial skills, including the ability to localise text from other vendors for the Nordics and Benelux market and ensure quality of content
• Good knowledge of marketing and B2B solutions
• Experience in managing paid media
• Proficiency in Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish is desirable
