EducationScape are seeking determined and resilient sub-editors to provide sub-editing support to the production team across two weekly educational newspapers in the Further Education and Schools sectors.
The Role
Ideal candidates will have strong experience in news journalism, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with a meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of the education sector is not essential but desirable.
Frequent shifts are available weekly during term time on an ongoing freelance basis: Wednesday 09:00-17:30, Thursday 10:30-19:00, Thursday 12:00-20:30. Shifts starting immediately. Shifts are completed via remote working with your own equipment.
We offer £180 per day over 7.5 hours. Additional hours worked would be paid at £25 per hour. Payment made on receipt of invoice.
