Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £27,948pa (fixed-term contract of 12 months)

A new role at Women in Prison you will have responsibility for the charity’s external communications working in collaboration with a small campaigns team. You will be the first point of contact for media enquiries and will develop and deliver a proactive communications strategy to scope out opportunities to disseminate our key messages and raise the profile of our campaigns.

You will grow our network of media spokeswomen by providing support, training and opportunities for women affected by the criminal justice system to speak out as well as WIP’s staff and other high-profile champions for the campaign. You will support the campaigns team to keep our website, social media channels and national magazine current and engaging.
