As a Reporter you will be part of an ambitious and growing editorial team, delivering in-depth and impactful news stories to an enthusiastic audience.

The Role
Reporting to the Editor, you will hunt down trends, events, and stories that are shaping the industry, providing valuable insights to our readership.
You will have training and experience in journalism and examples of your work. Newsroom experience is preferable.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience in journalism, including relevant training/newsroom exposure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong news sense and understanding of how to pitch a story
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- A curious nature and can-do attitude
- Demonstrable interest and understanding of the industry
- Demonstrable knowledge of social media use, including finding stories and SEO
- An ability to meet deadlines
Duties
- Reporting to the Editor – pitch ideas, write stories, populate and send the daily newsletter
- Help grow our editorial offering – demonstrate range in story writing, inventive headlines, clever use of SEO and social media
- Identify and report key issues impacting the sector, now and in the future
- Help us improve our editorial processes by identifying and solving problems

- Up to £23k per annum (plus annual bonuses)
