You’ll be joining the Strategic Development team working across multiple strategic projects that ensure we are maximising our commercial and customer revenues across the whole of News UK, reporting to the Head of Strategic Development.
The Strategic Development team is responsible for growing and diversifying revenue streams through evolving and enhancing our products and processes, always leading with data and insight.
At the end of the 2 year program you’ll complete your apprenticeship in Market Research.
Being an apprentice at News UK: During your time with us you will earn above living wage, get full training, study towards Market Research qualification (with your course fees paid). You will also receive mentoring/coaching from the industry’s best, as well as any other equity you might need to fulfil your full potential.
Day to day you will (these will be split into planned segments throughout the apprenticeship):
- Our main stakeholders are Tech, Editorial and Commercial departments. This means we are always analysing internal and external factors and produce a project strategy and outcome.
- You will be working across a variety of topics such as Video/ Ad Strategy, Subscriptions/ Membership, Editorial products, section performance and our flagship first party data platform, Nucleus.
- Working with external platforms such as Tik Tok, Apple, Google, Meta
What we’re looking for from you:
- You have a genuine thirst for knowledge and are excited about the future of publishing with a particular focus on digital.
- Have a passion for wanting to work in a fast paced environment across multiple departments.
- Organised and able to deliver but when presented with change in direction are able to adjust accordingly
