Journo Resources is delighted to announce a series of masterclass workshops in London, in partnership with hot-desking company AndCo.
The new series, which will alternate each month between an in-depth workshop and one-on-one drop-ins .will officially launch August 21.
Each masterclass will tackle one topic over an hour and a half, equipping journalists with practical skills to use in both the newsroom and as a freelancer.
One-on-one sessions will allow for dedicated time with a Journo Resources expert, on a range of topics. All delegates will also receive a 30 per cent discount on AndCo subscriptions.
All sessions will be advertised on our Ticket Tailor and announced on our website and newsletter.
Instagram Masterclass
Our first session this August will cover building up your Instagram strategy, whether you’re looking to use it to promote yourself, your work, or running an account for a publication or business.
Based at one of AndCo’s beautiful venues across London (exact location TBC) we’ll run through:
- The basics of your Instagram profile, from bio to headshot
- The differences between personal, business, and creator accounts
- Innovation and best practice across Instagram
- Strategy for feed posts, stories, and scheduling ahead
- Using Instagram for search to find contacts, content and case studies
There will be plenty of time to ask questions, with this session only running in small groups of up to 15. After the session, the tutor will also be available for one on one questions in the main cafe, where you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the atmosphere, great food and coffee.
